ABOUT US
Prince Emmanuel Seventh-day Adventist Church is a Christian, bible-believing community church based in Edgware-UK.
As Christians and Seventh-day Adventists our beliefs are based on the teachings of the Holy Scriptures, the Bible.Central to these is our belief that salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
(John 3:16, John 14:6, Acts 14:10-12).
We also believe in the keeping of the ten commandments as being relevant, today, in the life of a Christian and will continue to be until the return of Jesus Christ.(Revelation 14:12, Luke 16:17, Romans 3:31)
A LITTLE BIT OF HISTORY
The history of Prince Emmanuel Seventh-day Adventist church-UK, spans from the year 2019, when Queen Elizabeth II was queen of England, and there was a global pandemic, COVID-19, up to the year 2022, when the group was organised into a church according to Seventh-day Adventists manual.
It has been, and continues to be a journey of faith, perseverance, challenges and victory. The efforts by three very industrious men, elders: Francis Kumi Acheaw, Daniel Obeng and Daniel Ohene-Yeboah to have a place of worship for Ghanaian Seventh-day Adventists living within North London and Hertfordshire areas such as Watford, Edgware, St. Albans, Hemel Hempstead, etc finally paid off when on the 1st of June, 2019, the first sabbath worship was held in Hemel Hempstead at the residence of Mr Daniel Ohene Yeboah. In all, about 35 people attended that service and it was such a great success.Subsequent services were held and continues to be held at a rented hall in the Methodist Church, Edgware, as place of worship.Presently, the group has over eighty (80) members comprising adults, youth and children.Early pastors of the group were pastors: George Boakye Asiamah, Ebenezer Jones -Lartey and Kwame Sarpong. Also the first church elders were elders: Kingsford Boamah and Joe Oppong who were replaced by KT Abbequaye and Daniel Obeng.
